Reece’s Day in the life of Consultancy

Given the range of clients managed by Reece Laffar at C&C each day can be different from the previous one, ranging within office buildings working with them over web based platforms, to town councils working on upcoming events and public parks, factories and machinery, to construction sites where various trades and business complete a variety of works.

Over the course of the year this array of work proves to be fulfilling but also demanding so it’s always good to enjoy a bit of rest and get away with the family, Reece recently travelled to Mallorca and had a lovely time with his family! 🦺🏖

Preventing Accidents in the Workplace

People do make mistakes and equipment can malfunction, but much can be done to prevent accidents happening in the first instance.  Employers have a duty to effectively manage the working environment, their employees and those who may come into contact with their work, so that the likelihood of an accident occurring can be reduced to as low as reasonably practicable.

Complete suitable and sufficient Risk assessments

In order to know what will harm employees and visitors, employers need to assess the risks associated with the work that is carried out.  Continue reading…
